New mobile security measures.

Enhanced security measures will be applied to all mobile devices used for work to prevent the loss of company data due to lost or stolen devices.

O365 mobile app protection is activated on your mobile device. If it gets lost or stolen, IM can immediately secure it by removing any company data remotely.

This means

Only O365 mobile apps used for work are protected – not the entire device personal apps and data remain private and untouched.

Once O365 mobile app protection is activated on your mobile device, if it gets lost or stolen, IM can immediately make that device secure by removing any company data remotely.
